Poultry Litter

The mulched wood product from commercial and residential site clearings, can provide a low-cost, very much under-utilized, alternative to traditional poultry litter materials.

At one time, it was thought that the particles from this process were too large, but we use a repeat grinding process that produces material of the necessary fineness. This process converts it to a highly usable and cost-effective bedding material.

Scientific studies conducted on this type of material found that broilers reared on mulched material had superior production performance to those reared on pine shavings bedding.
